The medal of honor is something really special for the army of the United States. I will give anything for that medal even a president say that they prefer to have the medal of honor then been a president. The medal of honor will be given to an american citizen if they had ever risk there life. Have you ever thing that people will be rewarded for saving others people lifes? Well if you whant to learn more just keep reading.

The medal of honor to me means that people have corage, that their brave enoph to things that maybe I will never do. Well most of the people that have the medal of honor did not even know that they were going to get one if they risk or even wsome of them alredy died. Did you even know that the president have to give you respect just because you have that medal, the president have to salute you if he ever gets to see you. You will totaly get the respect of anybody that lives in the united states. If I will ever see a person that has that medal that person is a hero for me actually he is mor5e than a hero.

To be awarded you have to risk your life and safe or help other people that there life is in denger. some so the persons that have the medal of honor had died and they get there medal of honor in their funeral. Imagen if you have a family and you are saving somebodys life. I wounder if this people even thing of their family.

my conclusion of the medal of honor is that i thing it iois worthed because some people make a fortune out of it. It is super cool uthat we get to thank the people that help us, people that risk their life for us, but you know that most of them are from the army so I thank them alot for ther braveness.

Citation:

For conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity in action at the risk of his life and beyond the call of duty. Sgt. Davis (then Pfc.) distinguished himself during the early morning hours while serving as a cannoneer with battery C at a remote fire support base. At approximately 0200 hours, the fire support base was under heavy enemy mortar attack. Simultaneously, an estimated reinforced Viet Cong battalion launched a fierce ground assault upon the fire support base. The attacking enemy drove to within 25 meters of the friendly positions. Only a river separated the Viet Cong from the fire support base. Detecting a nearby enemy position, Sgt. Davis seized a machine gun and provided covering fire for his gun crew, as they attempted to bring direct artillery fire on the enemy. Despite his efforts, an enemy recoiless rifle round scored a direct hit upon the artillery piece. The resultant blast hurled the gun crew from their weapon and blew Sgt. Davis into a foxhole. He struggled to his feet and returned to the howitzer, which was burning furiously. Ignoring repeated warnings to seek cover, Sgt. Davis rammed a shell into the gun. Disregarding a withering hall of enemy fire directed against his position, he aimed and fired the howitzer which rolled backward, knocking Sgt. Davis violently to the ground. Undaunted, he returned to the weapon to fire again when an enemy mortar round exploded within 20 meters of his position, injuring him painfully. Nevertheless, Sgt. Davis loaded the artillery piece, aimed and fired. Again he was knocked down by the recoil. In complete disregard for his safety, Sgt. Davis loaded and fired 3 more shells into the enemy. Disregarding his extensive injuries and his inability to swim, Sgt. Davis picked up an air mattress and struck out across the deep river to rescue 3 wounded comrades on the far side. Upon reaching the 3 wounded men, he stood upright and fired into the dense vegetation to prevent the Viet Cong from advancing. While the most seriously wounded soldier was helped across the river, Sgt. Davis protected the 2 remaining casualties until he could pull them across the river to the fire support base. Though suffering from painful wounds, he refused medical attention, joining another howitzer crew which fired at the large Viet Cong force until it broke contact and fled. Sgt. Davis' extraordinary heroism, at the risk of his life, are in keeping with the highest traditions of the military service and reflect great credit upon himself and the U.S. Army.

**** MY GOAL****

Some of the goals that I have accomplished are one. The one that I have accomplished is joining the Drum Corps team. This goal was made since I was in my freshman year, but in my freshmen year I could not accomplish it because I did not pass the evaluation. But I try it again in my sophomore year and guess what I made it. . I was so happy when I got the news. I now that I did not post this goal in any blog but it was in my mind since I was in freshmen year.

You if you know I just have one goal that I haven’t accomplish and is to get my car. I’m sad about that because I want my car, and I wanted to take my friends and myself to the military bold that we have every year in the school, and to not depend on my parents or the bus to go to places that I want to go.

I think that the american dream that my perents have it will be the same that i will have when i grow up and have my childrens. Because my mom has teach me that when somebody has a baby the baby has to be first than you. I will make that happen because I dont want my childrens to be on stuff that im not.

My dads american dream is to find a really good job that will pay him enough to afort the bills and any paymants he need to do to keep us conterbal. My dads american dream it is almost accomplish but its still need a few years my dad needs to learn english to find a job that good. So far my family is doing good on there dreams.

Just think about what would happen if immigrants leave? Ok let’s start saying that there is about 12 or more millions of immigrants, just think about how much money the United States is going to spend sending the immigrants back. Now think in this undocumented people which are include the Mexicans, now what would happen if there is no more people that would buy tacos,tortas,tortillas,ect. Just think about it the taxes will rice up and remember the government pay Americans bill for the ones that don’t work or don’t have the capacity to do something. By the way I just want to say that in California there are only 35% of Native Americans.
Something’s I’m just going to say are that most of the Americans says that we are taking over there medical care, well that is totally not true because the immigrants are scare that somebody will ask them for their social security number or something that will reveal that their immigrants, but by the way United States medical sucks any way.
Sometimes you here that some people say that Immigrants are criminals but I found a web site that proves that immigrants are less likely to commit a crime, than Native Americans born.

The Public Policy Institute of California has just issued a surprising new report finding that immigrants to the Golden State are far less likely to commit serious crimes than those who are native-born. The study finds that even though foreign-born residents make up 35 percent of California's population, they make up only 17 percent of those incarcerated. Among men aged 18-40, the most likely to commit crimes, immigrants make up an even lower percentage. Native-born Americans in that age group who were born in the Untied States are 10 times more likely to be in county or state prison than immigrants. Hopefully, the study will put some xenophobia to rest.

I was born a alave I was going true a lot of bad things, one of the things that i will never forget is that my dad got kill by his master Oscar, his his wife is really nice to me her name is Isabella. My dad got kill because his master like to ride horses so my dad had o get the horse ready so nothing bad happen. But uunfortunately something happen but it was not my dads foult but the master said that my dad did it on purpose what happen was that the master felt from the horse but they say that he felt because my dad got the horse nurves.

Whant to know what they did to my dad, how that guy kill him what he did is that tide him up to arope and then he tide the rope to the horse, so the master ride the horse and he did not stop riding the horse until my dad die. Two days after they kill my dad the master sale my mom to an old rich guy. After all that happen the master of my perrents buy a new helper . The name of the the new slave is kevin.

Now im alone in this worl, I'dont trust nobady only miss Isabella she buy me when miss Oscar sold me there is miss isabella meet him then they merry each other, the thing that i like about miss isabella is that she is a really strong woman. You whant me to tell you what happen to ex master oscar, ok i will tell you one day when Kevin could not take care of the horse of Master oscar he send me to doit but he told me to doit rigth not like my father that do everithing wrong. so i got really mad so waht I did was to get his horse ready then he got on top of the horse but before he left i tie his foot to the horse just like he did to my father and i make the horse run.After that i had to scape because if i did not scape they will kill me.
